Rie Nakajima is a Japanese sound artist living in London. In her instal­la­ti­ons and per­for­man­ces she res­ponds to the phy­si­cal qua­li­ties of spa­ces by using found objects and moto­ri­zed devi­ces. Sonorous tex­tu­res, acous­tic reflec­ti­on, chan­ce and silen­ce are cen­tral to her mini­ma­list appro­ach.
